equipment then this is the page for you. If you want to review something click here. Some examples of things you can review are snowboard bindings, flippers, mountain bike shocks, surfboard leashes etc Name: Matt Name: Ali Email: astori@du.edu Category: Snow Boarding Product Name: Burton Balance 148.5 Rating out of 10 : 10 Comments: This board is excellent for light female riders that want to pull some fun tricks. It's lightweight and very responsive to rider and snow conditions. if you're looking for a new board I suggest you demo this one. All that you must do is set the two side clamps and step. You can set the bindings on the lift, and even step-in while still on the lift. I have never had a problem with them not securing into postition. They have an indicator that tells you that the binding is set. They may be a little more in price, but you get what you pay for. Name: Guus Duijvestijn Email: guus@datacomm.ch Category: Skiing Custom Category: Telemark Product Name: Voile releasable telemark bindings Rating out of 10 : 8 Comments: The Voile releasable telemark bindings offer a great solution for those Telemarkers among us who are afraid of their knees. I tightened them a bit further than recommended in the flyer, else they'll come off too quickly. They already saved me in one crash from a nasty knee injury. The binding plate is the same patent as the normal Voile 3-point binding, but uses a springloaded front part, in which the binding plate can rotate, and release when lateral pressure is exerted. Operation is the same as the standard binding, and when it released the re-entry is very easy, with one pole push the binding flicks back in place. I'm happy! If you like gripshift then this package KO's XTR in all catergories. The light action of the shifters are a boon for fast, accurate and simple shifting. The shifters also gain an easy cable port like the Sachs models for quick cable replacement. Name: Gaelan Kells Email: pawn514@hotmail.com Category: other Custom Category: Aggressive Rollerblading Product Name: Rollerblade Edwards Troopers Rating out of 10 : 4 Comments: I just picked up the new Troopers by Rollerblade. They aren't worth the plastic it took to mold the boot. Where to begin.... The liner is made of canvas on the outside, and some kind of fake terrycloth on the inside, and offers no cushioning whatsoever. The grind plate that comes with it is metal, weighs a ton, and wears down way too quickly. There is no grind block, and the wheels don't have space enough between them to fit all but the smallest handrails. And while you are trying your darndest to get on these handrails, the fact that the soul plate, at it's widest, does not extend past the first joint of my index figure. There is no negative plate at all. I must give them credit for one thing though. The bearing's are far and away some of the best I have seen on skates. They come with abec 3 Killer Bees bearings, and they are faster than any abec 5's I've seen, and most abec 7's. But other than that one point I suggest looking to their newer models. The Dirk and the CI-5 look quite promising. Name: Dan Email: Dan@awezome.com Category: Mountain Biking Product Name: RST 170 Front Shocks Rating out of 10 : 6 Comments: These are at the bottom end of the RST price range, and what can I say - you get what you pay for. They only have a couple of cm of travel. Suppose they're better than nothing! Name: Dan Email: Dan@awezome.com Category: Snow Boarding Product Name: K2 Clicker Bindings Rating out of 10 : 8 Comments: I tried some Clicker Bindings and found them to be quite good, although they do take a while to get used to. It is great being able to click in as you get off the lift and then watch other people sitting around on their bums doing up straps. One problem that I did find is that if ice and dirt gets caught in the latch, they don't work until you clean them. Also the boots take a while to get used to because they are stiff. If you haven't tried them I say give 'em a go.
